Swear To Hell Thought It Was You

I'm excited. Extremely excited. It's in every pull up, push-up, every second I spend thinking, breathing, training to be a MARINE. The future looks bright and I'm ready to go. I want to say I'm as prepared as I can be but I don't think that's possible. It saddens me to leave my good friends behind, little pieces of my heart but I know it's for the greater good and I will see them again. College in almost exactly a month and shortly after arriving Indoc starts. Finished almost all of my paperwork today and going to Maritime on Wednesday for orientation. Still a lot to do before college starts but I'll get all that done too. I'm investing in an AR-15 to take out to the range so I can practice rifle qualifications and I wanna buy a road bike to bring to college. I always enjoyed cycling. I think I've seen the first episode of Generation Kill 200 times already and I could keep watching it haha. It's an amazing show and if you haven't caught it you should probably be at my house Sunday nights from now on. I feel really at ease right now, this is nice. Started reading "Soul Of The Samurai" for a third time and it's still enlightening. Nothing else really to report so I'll leave you with a new found quote that I love:

"Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and the Romans, and must be that of every free state."- Thomas Jefferson, 1813
