So Della calls me up on my cell at school and I'm in the middle of yelling at a half dozen kids so I can't pick up. She sends me a text saying Ryan's van is still parked on Gorge and he's gonna get a ticket and tow it if he doesn't move. I tried calling his home and cell, but he didn't pick up. Luckily I had a half day so I was out like a shot at 12:45. My sneakers are totally done, the treads are completely gone, seriously it's like a baby's ass. Even though it's only about 10 blocks it's a pretty treacherous trail, there is just no easy way to get from Palisade to Gorge in the snow. But I did it, I got to his door, up the stairs and in the car before any tow trucks or cops came by.
