I know Valentine's Day is long past...

...but I've been busy with variuos things and my internet has been funny. Anyway, when he picked me up he greeted me with a dozen red roses and later that night he gave me a special spray for my pillow when I sleep at his place because I never sleep the whole night through. He said it wasn't really part of my present, but it was technically the 14th. Then when I woke up he brought me breakfast in bed which consisted of a cheese omlet, bacon, cinnamon toast and tea. Then when we went into the other room he gave me perfume (he spent hours in the store smelling and sampleing). He said he didn't usually give perfume because people should choose for themselves what they smell like. They're three 1/2 oz. bottles that came together, two of them he really thought I'd like and when he saw he could get them together with an extra one he figured he'd go for it. Then a box of Godiva chocolates and a special dessert wine. To top off the hold-in-your-hands gifts he gave me a book of love poetry by Pablo Neruda which we read to eachother at the end of the evening. We took a nap, went to some stores, and then to top off the evening we took eachother to Fleming's, I paid for him and he paid for me. It was increadable. Best Valentine's ever, and the best Valentine ever!

Around August we had a conversation based on the movie The Time Machine (not the book) when George left with 3 books. Ry and I discussed our books and their alternates. He already had two of them so I got the other four; Catcher in the Rye, The Neverending Story, The Princess Bride, and Grimm's Fairy Tales. I hand made him a Valentine (I was going for a Victorian theme, but it wound up being more kindergarten arts and crafts) he said it was lovely and would go on his fridge.
