Yeah, I guess I am. I found a bunch of these papers saying stuff about training..."Pokemon?" And there was also a horse that won't stop following me around.

Pokemon are these animals with cool powers. Some of them can breath fire, or make big whirlwinds. Your horse is probably one of them. And you're supposed to take care of them and have them fight each other.

Oh. All I've seen around here must be Pokemon then. I haven't seen any normal animals around.

I did see something about battling in one of the papers. It doesn't make much sense though.

Yeah, I've been here a while, but I haven't seen any either. I guess they have Pokemon instead.

Not really to me either, but it seems like what they're supposed to do. They learn a bunch of attacks, and then when they fight they get stronger.

I guess I'll just have to see for myself. Though, my horse doesn't really seem the type to want to fight. Then again, she hasn't had a reason to fight yet.

Yeah, some of them are a lot more laid back. One of mine just wants to hang onto my backpack and get pulled around.

You have a horse? Do you know what kind she is?

Yeah. I think someone mentioned it was called a Ponyta? Her mane and tail are made of fire, if that's any help.

My friend Katara has one like that, too, but I think he's a Rapidash. It's pretty handy, especially because we can ride him around places. And my starter was partially on fire, too.

Um, you know how caterpillars turn into butterflies? Pokemon kind of do the same thing - when they get strong enough, they get all glowy and turn into a bigger one. So a Rapidash is like a grown-up Ponyta.
