Sooo... This year's Twilight Covening Registration site is up with a list of this year's clans. I ask for your indulgence in a little self-promoting here, though mostly I think the gathering is incredible and would love to share that experience with all of you.
I was trying to come up with how to sum up what Twilight Covening is, but found that lifting the intro from the website said it more clearly than I was:
"Twilight Covening is both a continual three-day ritual and a three-day institute of earth-spirituality. It is a time for exploring ways to deepen earth-centered spiritual practice and a time to develop our collective wisdom in a shared sacred space."
"Created in 1986, Twilight Covening continues to evolve and change. Each year a devoted group of people committed to a spirituality rooted in the earth gather to explore the depths of their practices, learn new skills together and experience the joy and power of a living community ritual. The culminating Visioning Ritual carries each of us deeper into ourselves and into communion with this time of year and with all of Nature."
The event is not only for 'experienced' pagans per-se, though there are certainly advanced clans for those who wish to explore deeper work. I mention this because I know it might sound like it's only for more experienced pagans (whatever that exactly means ;) ). It was one of my first pagan gatherings and was a wonderful experience. I wish I could share it with all of you, and hope eventually maybe you all will get to experience (or re-experience) it.
It's an amazing event. Part of what makes it so good are the amazing attendees. Please consider coming. I know some of you have in the past and haven't made it back for a few years (heck, Spiral Kin was born partly out of discussions with Keri on the way back from TC one year). I know for some it may be a first time experience.
I have been helping to run this event for several years now and would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have. I will be running a Clan again this year (Wolf Clan).
