So yeah. I know Splintered_soul has her own compilation, though uh... okay, I admit, I only remembered halfway through. I'd still have done this one though. Basically someone reminded me that I had a compile in my NF sig (yeah, I had to be reminded *cough*). Since it was Way outdated, I went to mangahelpers and went to add the links one by one. Something I noticed--and it might just be me--but it seems like for some characters the databook has to tell you what their qualities are because the manga itself isn't a good enough indicator. Not for all of the characters of course! But for example, when one says "So and so is THIS, THIS, AND THIS!" its like...wow, I had no idea at all prior to reading that O.o

Maybe I'm just being silly though...

InoChou, eh? Thats pretty rare and unheard of. I suspect its because he is large and not very popular. Actually, when I think of it, I'm pretty sure I've seen more NaruIno, ShikaIno, KibaIno, or NejiIno then I have of that one.

Hmm? Think of the databooks as fandom meta, except it's written by Kishimoto! =D

Though, yes, for some of the characters (mostly the minor ones), the databook is there to add um... stuff. Check out The Tonton Profile! XD

InoChou is one of the most commonly admitted "canon" pairings, it's just not popular. The fandom though has been considered relatively friendly for a while, until it started wanking upon the appearance of InoSai. O_o;; Ah well. People often just lop Ino and Chouji together because Shikamaru is with Temari, because Ino does show to care about Chouji, and because "Fat guy x skinny girl" >_> (that last one is completely stupid, and is the first thing I'm going to address in the essay.

After the Sasuke-retrieval arc, with the hospital scene, Ino-Cho is actually pretty obviously canon. But that's just me.
