It's funny how my lettuce sprouted so quickly when the seeds were inside, and how long it took outside. Not funny, really. I was so surprised by its swift germination indoors, that I was concerned when the same didn't happen outdoors. Of course, I know the temperature and soil condition have a lot to do with that.
Mostly, I'm just impatient. But it's finally coming-up. :-)
And the beets. We'll see how my beet harvest goes. Never tried them before. Of course, I have to grow them in pots, since my postage stamp of a backyard is totally bricked.
The luffa, well... I'm not so sure about that. I planted a few seeds, only one sprouted, and my luck with squash of any sort (except those pickling-size cucumbers) has not been so great, so I'm not holding my breath for them.
We shall see!
