LATE Saturday night, Momoko's hotel room
Momoko's time back on the island had been spent looking up people and trying to figure out any clues... to no avail. New people showing up. Old residents coming back. People acting in weird ways. All of it changing at a moment's notice and for no reason. It sounded familiar to Momoko. She'd eliminated the idea of it being the Nothing - because nothing was disappearing! And she was back to her original thought about time the fangirls had been on the island and made lots of changes.
It had taken most of Saturday, but Momoko had finally found the radio podcasts from then. In one, she'd finally found a reference to the fangirls finding some rings in the sewers.
The sewers. Ew. But still, it was someplace she hadn't checked yet and she should at least check it out so she could cross it off her list of possibilities.
Finally noticing how late it was, she made some quick plans for Sunday and turned in.
... Then got back up and checked the tv to make sure that the Late Late Movie wasn't another Gojira one like last night.
