Momoko hadn't lied when she told Jaime that she liked to spend New Years both the western and Japanese way. She'd spent the whole evening at a party, laughing and having fun and even joined loudly in as they counted down to midnight

Robin slept late on Sunday, but soon after he woke, he sent Momo a New Year text.

"Happy New Year Momo! New York was insane last night! Even for New York!"

Momoko grinned as she read the text.

Happy New Year!! WHat happned? Did you have aParty? I was at aparty!

The school had a huge party and then there was another huge party out on the street! It was like a mix between Halloween and uh...I think one of the kids called it Mardi Gras.

No particular reason I guess, just fun.

It totally sounds like it! Maybe I should come to New York for next nNew year? Am inNew Gotham this year! Very fun!
