Tokyo City, Japan, Tuesday late afternoon
Because of her internship, and at the Mayor's request, Momoko was allowed to carry her cell during classes, so when it buzzed an alert, she got excused from class and quickly moved into the hallway to check it out. Sure the alert was for email, but with the weirdness going on, she and Dinah had agreed to keep in touch and Momoko totally considered that an urgent matter.
Annoyingly enough, it was just a promotional email from Portolocity, but she added them to her twitter feed and made a quick scroll of her inbox anyway. She reread Dinah's last email, hoping maybe a new clue would jump out at her, with no luck.
After Saturday's experience, Dinah and she had gone over HOURS of footage back at the Lab, trying to find something to prove Mojo Jojo ever existed. Momoko even pulled up archive footage from six years ago, right after the white light hit and Mojo Jojo released all the zoo animals to terrorize the city... The footage showed only the animals escaping and Blossom returning them an hour later. No Mojo.
She sighed and repocketed her phone. She'd emailed all of her notes to Tim, asking for his opinion as well as just generally checking up on him, but there was no reply yet. Which was a little worrying, since he was usually fairly prompt at emailing her back. There was also no new information from Ken or the Professor on locating Mojo Jojo; they didn't know who he was (anymore), but they had more than willing to monitor the city for the appearance of an evil green monkey.
Momoko took a moment to get a drink from the water fountain before returning to the classroom, running over all of the information again in her head. From her world and Dinah's, where things were similar but totally not the same. Which still didn't make sense. Maybe they needed more information? She sat in her chair, already composing an email in her head to her friends in other universes.
