The room looked empty. It wasn't of course; Spock's things were still there, but all of Momoko's posters were down, her books and action figures and DVDs were gone, her desk was empty. Moshi, his carrier and a couple of carry-on bags were all that were left. Even the aquarium and her monstrously ugly AWESOME pink bookshelf had been packed up and

"I'm very disappointed," a voice announced from the doorway.

Unfortunately for Jaime, he was bad at keeping a straight face about that kind of teasing.

"Me too!" she sighed dramatically, teasing. "Wait, what are we disappointed about again?"

Jaime wasn't doing a good job hiding his grin. "That you completely forgot to call me to help you pack."

Duh.

She snorted lightly. "I've been packing all week! You totally could have stopped by and helped, you know."

"Well, I'm here now!" He smirked. "What can I pack?"

[heromaniac]

"I don't have anything left really to pack! A few bathroom supplies, things I'm going to need until I leave later tonight." She gave him an evil grin. "You're totally drafted to help me get Moshi in his cage when it's time to go, though."

Jaime blinked.

"Oh. Um... I think I have a thing then."

"Whenever that is."

Momoko pouted hard at him. "Oh."

She was getting SO much better at not giggling when she did this.

"Besides, you still have some things to pack away," Jaime pointed out with a knowing little smirk.

"So you'll help me pack my hairbrush... and throw away the litter pan?"

[weldedtomyspine]

"Well, if you like. But I was thinking of this." Jaime had a box. It looked suspiciously like it came from JGOB.

"EH?!" Momoko stared wide-eyed at the box. "EH?! Is that...?"

"A box that needs packing?" Jaime suggested helpfully.

He'd known Momoko a long time. He knew what she liked.

Momoko set her hands on her hips, and raised an eyebrow. "It looks more like a box that needs to be unpacked."

She wasn't at all sad that he had bought her baked goods instead of making them. Nope.

Okay, a little.

Jaime pouted just a bit. "But if you eat those, there won't be enough room for chocolate chip cookies."

And that would be sad!

She looked at him, utterly confused. "There's cookies in there too?" Didn't J,GOB usually pack their baked goods in separate packaging, because that totally looked like a cakes box?
