Room 307, Sunday Evening
Momoko was at her laptop, finishing up an email to Kaoru and Miyako all about prom. Well, actually she started with the shopping trip with Dinah, and attached some of the pictures they'd sent to Jaime. Then she explained how she'd actually been asked to the dance, even though she'd already asked someone else.
[It was so weird having to turn down a date! Me!! Can you believe it?!]
The email then went on at great length about the actual prom; everything from just showing up and chatting with friends, to the weird flavours of cheesecake they'd had and the totally awesome dancing she'd done.
She hesitated for a moment and then added a run-down of the meeting between Lion-o and Jaime, hoping Kaoru, who had two brothers, would comment back that it was perfectly normal.
She reread the email and finally attached a picture of her in her dress and then a few more random shots from that night and hit 'send'.
She stretched and stood, forcing Moshi to fall off her lap and grump his way to the bed to continue his nap.
"Ah! It's still early!" Momoko had her door wide open and she looked up every time someone ran screaming or giggling past her room. Sure none of the kids were hers, but just today she'd found she had a future niece visiting this year! That was totally awesome and maybe she'd stop by to hang out again?
