Momoko sat back and considered the problem before her: to order another parfait or no.
Sure she could expense it, but Oracle was being totally picky about this assignment for some reason. Ugh. You would think that an assignment that paid for Momoko to actually live in Tokyo for a month would mean Oracle would just pass over a few extra desserts here and there, but apparently this client was someone special.
She sighed, paid for her lunch, and wandered back out of the cafe. Osamu-san was scheduled to be at work for another few hours, but it was never a bad idea to check. He did have a secret to protect, after all.
No. If her recon from last night was accurate,
Osamu Jiro had two secrets.
But yes, he was still there. Momoko sighed again and then took up her "assigned" spot down the street and began to hand out her
tissues and wait for her mark to leave.

Hours later (many many many hours later) Momoko had managed a few hours of sleep and was now typing the last of her report on the information gathered from the previous day and loooooong night.
Mister Unknown... It hadn't been easy, but Momoko had completed the main objective of her assignment; she'd figured out who the mysterious hero of Tokyo was. She even knew why Mister Unknown never seemed to age despite being so active for so long. And that he was really bad at pachinko.
... "Better not include that." She deleted the pachinko commentary.
A few minutes more typing and she hit send. She watched the little hummingbird icon on her desktop flutter as the application sent the documents through the most secure routes imaginable. Now she just had to wait for confirmation from Oracle that the client was satisfied.
Another yawn escaped her. "So sleeepy. Why do the heroes in this world always work at night?" After a glance at her watch and a quick depressing calculation of how little sleep she'd actually had, she let her head fall back. "Other than that, the villains in this Japan remind me more of home than the US ones."
Momoko mused a bit on that thought. She also touched briefly on the feelings she'd had while watching the masked Osamu take down a gang of ninjas the other evening. Mmm. She'd wanted to jump in and help so badly! She could think of these recent Oracle assignments as maybe sort of hero work now, especially since her costume was going through a small-bikini stage, but she didn't know if she could do this forever or even full time. Also...
Also...
"Aaaaaaaah!" She shrieked suddenly and kicked her feet, tantrum-ing. Forget the hero part... "A WHOLE MONTH!!!!!"
She missed her boyfriend! How had that future Rhode Island version of her done it, being away from her!Jaime so long?!
[
In Tokyo it is Thursday morning, but it the USA it is still Wednesday evening! Yay time zones!]
[OPEN for anyone who wants to call or text. Momo has been on assignment in Japan for a month. If you want her to have told your character, she did!]
