Momoko had worked the late shift Friday, so sleeping in was only natural. As was waking up and being hungry. What wasn't natural was being six.
After a few minutes seconds of being very confused about where she was and some time bouncing on the bed to get her happy back, Momoko left her room and found the kitchen.
And Moshi!!! Which meant a few more minutes of distraction before she finally decided to make breakfast. Which was the most important meal of the day, so it was important to eat it no matter what time the clock said it was. And anyway, if it was really that time, then she'd be able to eat lunch even sooner! And you could have desserts with lunch sometimes!
Still, breakfast. Which meant much rummaging in the fridge and opening cabinets and generally finding things until there was a very large mess in the kitchen. Though to see that, one would have to walk past the very small girl on the living room floor watching TV while sharing a biiiiiig bowl of cereal (with lots of bananas in it for healthies!) with the kitty.
And if you were wondering about the jelly smears on her cheek (and on the cat, the TV, the crabs' aquarium, the bathroom door, the patio window, the wall next to the front closet...), well, making breakfasts was hard work when you are only six, okay? She'd needed en-ir-gee.
[Open for calls and texts and, of course, the boooooooyfriend. Sorry it's up so late!!!!]
