It had been more than an hour since Momoko had woken up and found herself in this weird forest instead of the ghost town she remembered being in. She had no idea where she was or how she got there, though she was almost positive it was some sort of magical booby-trap. She totally blamed the crazy fog. It didn't help that she saw remnants of the misty fog still hanging in the air above the trees.
Her cell phone was missing and when she'd tried her Compact it hadn't even powered up! After taking a few moments to look herself over and make sure she had everything else and no wounds, she'd started walking. She was still walking and all she could see was more of the strange trees and rocks.
"I thought you could only walk halfway into a forest," she sighed.
