This is heartbreaking. Well done and well explained. Poor Wanda.

Honestly, I went back and reread Disassembled and House of M to try to get into her head a little and that "That's what mommies do" line hit me like a truck! lol

Rooting for her? Oh, I can't... I just... I can't. LOL

Glad you enjoyed this. :)

Hmm..Not sure what is fully going on, but if I'm right, Wanda has had children taken away from before and again, if I'm right they had died/been killed. And that she was betrayed by a woman named Agatha and her other friends/family The Avengers. And now they are coming after her again.

I wonder why.. Hmmm...

Good piece Daz. I can't wait to read the other one. =)

I feel sorry for Agatha, too - she is telling Wanda the truth, but those truths are cruel and conflict with everything that Wanda tried to make her life into. I like that you show the line between "reality-warping power" and "mental illness" is very, very thin for Wanda - everything is real, even that which can't be, because she makes it so.

Honestly, I felt bad for nearly everyone in canon during Disassembled.

And I think the line is very thin in Wanda's case. In fact, the more I think about it, the less I believe that anyone would be able to hold onto their sanity with powers like that. *shrug*

Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)
