auld lang syne
Well, I made it safely to Chicago
my apartment is definetly in a semi-seedy area, although, there is a starbucks within walking distance and so is the El Stop .. and a blockbuster.
It's small, but bigger then I thought plus the girl I took over the sublet for left me a big TV and a ton of crap as well
I am adjusting and I miss my dad but I'm doing pretty ok.
Christine and Oliver (her boyfriend) took Aaron and I to Ikea on Saturday and I bought SO MUCH STUFF
and it was a blast. Plus, that was a lifesave cause i had no clue how I was going to get out to Schaumburg since renting a car is a huge hassle
New Year's Eve was definetly "one for the books"
I normally can't stand new years but Christine invited us to her friend's party and I had a ridiculous amount of fun...a RIDICULOUS amount of fun
and Christine/Oliver/Emily are such great & fun people, so it really started off 2007 correctly
