Simple Business

Work has been getting on my final nerve. Being a cashier, you think is simple business. You greet them, ring up their groceries, take their payment and (in my case, because my Kroger is too low budget to hire more baggers) bag their groceries with smile and "have a nice day!" Unfortunately, almost every time, it gets more complicated than that.. Co-workers who work in the meat room or are courtesy clerks think they have it rough with bottle machines and cutting up cows. Hell, give me your job! I would much rather even clean up people's crap that look at their faces, deal with their attitudes and explain to them while they're yelling at me why they can't use the person behind thems' Kroger card.

It's unreal the things that go on on the front end of the store. I don't mind it so much on some days, but others it seems like people are intentionally trying to give me hard time. I can honestly say I've dealt with idiots, snobs, bitchy emo kids, senile old people, and psychopaths all in one day. Of course ya can't have one without the other, once I've dealt with AT LEAST two of each kind in a day, I know it's nearly over.

Thank god I won't go back until Monday..

Besides my ranting about how much work sucks, I do have an open house on the 26th to look forward to. I love my mom, she's gone to great lengths to put this whole thing together and has done a bang-up job of it. Everyone should come, if you know where I live, it's at the club house in the front of the park where I live in Hometown Grand Blanc (formally known as Chateau). It's this coming Sunday so be there!

Now, it's time to kick back on this short little vacation, and hope it goes well..
