They had come back from the draft together and then just a day or two later both vanished at the same time. Considering what happened in February during the experiments, it just didn't hit her that they were actually gone. But, Saber never was good

[In some ways, he can understand the sentiment that it's better that they might go home. Though such a sentiment's been getting harder for him to feel himself lately. Must be part of being here for as long as he has.]

I appreciate the offer. It will take a while to get use to it, but I can manage. [At least that's what she's telling herself.] I will need to find new residence however. Being in a house like this alone isn't comforting.

I can understand that. ...There's probably a nice apartment free in one of the community buildings.

[The pause suggests that he's thinking about offering her a place to stay, but their house is cramped as can be right now anyway, and he'd have to talk with people about it. If there was more space he wouldn't hesitate, but... bah. Dammit.]

[She wouldn't take it anyway. Being around so many unfamiliar faces would just make things awkward.]

I've visited one or two before, so I can't say they're badly furnished. I'll start looking within the week, given that the Malnosso don't pull any frustrations on us. Even then, I'll be taking a trip to the mountains soon.

To the mountains? Gonna go sightseeing up there, or something?

I plan to train with the wind spirit there. Someone knowledgeable on the spirits told me once that he can be heard the loudest from there.

Thank you. Hopefully I will return in the week. That area doesn't interest me very much, but I am willing to go to meet with Kipinn.

Not really a fan of mountains, then?

I am a close combat fighter and the rocky terrain does not aide my technique, so I cannot say I am very adjusted to it. Though I can easily climb through, it will still be difficult.

Well, I meant more in an aesthetic sense. But I can understand that as well.

I do not pay attention to aesthetics. Mountains are simply large rock formations. [Hurhur I'm a knight, I don't have time to appreciate the scenery.]

I dunno, looking out from the top of a mountain peak down to everything below? It can be pretty beautiful. And can sometimes put everything into perspective.

...Though I'm really more of a beach kind of guy, admittedly.
