Summary: Maya regrets what she's done, but finds a solution.

She didn't mean to hurt her. That was the last thing on her mind when the man's hand came around her throat and starting cutting off the air supply to her lungs. She kicked, but it did no good. She only thought of Aljeandro and how this was going to effect him, what this would to him. The hands grip tightened and she heard the blushing bride begging for him to stop, promising that Maya wouldn't say anything. Fool.
When Maya's head began to hurt she started panicking, her hands draping over his and trying to pull him back. That's when she saw the black tears seeping from their eyes and Maya felt a warm trickle down her face as her own started to fall. She was killing them. For a moment she felt powerful, but that didn't last entirely too long as he dropped his hold on her and fell to the ground. Maya screamed and ran out, seeing the people on the ground. So many people, all from the same thing...
She desperately searched for her brother, trying to find him but finding nothing. When he came into view and saw her, he started over. She was shocked that this had not effected him, she didn't understand. He didn't understand when he looked at her and saw her face, his thumbs padding over her face in a effort to wipe them away. It was no use. She realized the only thing that she could do was run. To leave everything behind, even Alejandro. This was just what she needed to do, she knew eventually he would understand.
