Snow really does come at the best and worst times.
Best including the first week back after Christmas, worst being today.
It’s nice to see the familiar return of this frozen precipitation falling from the sky, hiding away the green vegetation which did look quite alien after nearly 1 months of it being covered by snow.
Yet again it will cause chaos.
Lol! Somebody genuinely said this at school today “there’s 1cm of snow, so London will be in shutdown”.
It’s funny because it’s true.
Like on the first episode of Newswipe there was some random guy moaning on about how more of the little roads and driveways should be gritted.
Whilst others were having fun and arsing about, joining clubs called “Skip school for sledging day”.
Then another guy came on with his kid on BBC news whilst the reporter was babbling on about the travel chaos, and he said “it doesn’t matter, does it?”
This man vaguely resembled Noddy.
Well, I think he did.
Anyway, the bad it today that Warwick let us take AO6 home to finish tonight and bring it back tomorrow.

MY SCHELDULE CAN’T HANDLE SNOW AT THE MOMENT!

I was supposed to be going to Skipton with my mum to find out about A levels at Craven College.
We opened the door and decided we’d probably end up having a massive argument.
We did go to Skipton on Saturday as a ‘dummy run’ so we could actually find out where it is.
But there wasn’t a speck on snow on Saturday.
Skipton is a fairly rural town, and it can get pretty busy with all the traffic in the town centre.
There’s a beautiful park on the walk from the train station to craven so I know where I’ll have to walk from.
There’s a gazebo near the swimming pool or leisure centre (whatever it is) where I can see us all hanging out every lunch.
I have known for a while that I will have to apply to Craven, but with some people announcing they’re going elsewhere, I can’t help feeling like I have to make my own decision at the last minute.
But by putting it off, the government has decided to send a letter to my mum asking me what I’m doing next year.

Nosy much?

And I’m receiving less than positive support from my mother.
“Oh, why don’t just apply?”
>.<
I’m trying to.
First you want me to stay at Parkside and now you want me to go to Craven.
I can’t paint this picture just so you can hang it, I can’t wait for you to understand if you just don’t get it.
If you’ve been wondering where all this lyric and some of my blog titles come from it’s from Demi Lovato’s albums ‘Don’t Forget’ and ‘Here We Go Again’.
Just In case you were wondering.
I wish she could be more like how Richard’s handling the whole situation.
Do what’s best for you, don’t think about anyone else.
I’ll ask for another paper app from the ‘careers’ guy, whenever I see him next.

Ahhh!
Solo recording for music tomorrow.

At least I get out of Science for a bit, only to return for tutorial half an hour later.
Really need to practice.
Unlike my recent bout with disorganisation, as far as snow posing an immediate threat, I think I’m ready.
Sadly, it’s my last lesson with Emily on Tuesday who’s leaving.
:’(

OH GOD!
What if I don’t like her replacement?
WHAT WILL I DO???!!!
Only 3 lessons left before the end (one tomorrow, one on Friday and one next Tuesday).
Hope I don’t forget my music tomorrow.
So I’ve still gotta practice, do that bloody science c/w about variation and tidy my room for tomorrow.

school, snow
