Oh... That murder scene is a twisted little thing, but so delightful to read thanks to Sylar's remarks (especially the "Here's the deal" and "You'll have to speak a little louder" bits). "Nasty little surprise" indeed. A very interesting portrayal of killer!Sylar, which is actually quite creepy.

Sylar's powers failed in mid action leaving both of them surprised. So, murdurus interuptus? *refrains from dragging you along into the gutter*

Oh well, she'd just have to him because Sylar sure as hell wasn't going to change for this girl. - I think there's a few words missing after she'd have to. "Get used to"?

And I adored these three lines:

“I was.. different. Maybe. I don't know.”

The two sides of his personality battled within him during the long walk to town, neither winning for very long.

Tired of this life and these people in it, tired of so many things.. but he would make it right for them.

Thank you for catching those missing words. It's weird, one of the biggest typo mistakes I make is leaving out whole words. I don't get how I can miss whole words (or phrases) like that. heh.
