Between these two pieces, there are abundant spoilers for 2x06 and 2x07, so if you're trying to avoid spoilers, don't read these till you've seen those two episodes. All I can really say is that this a) picks up where the previous piece leaves off and b) deals with the events of 2x07. I also think it fits mllejoly's prompt request at hiro_ando, if I'm not mistaken. Where Palimpsest was in Ando's POV, this one's in Hiro's.
Summary: Salvation and suspicion don't reconcile that easily - but they can try.
