Summary: He always wanted her.
He’s always wanted her… she was so beautiful. She was the most interesting and elegant woman he knew - a generally great woman to speak too and to hang out with. They were friends much longer then Nathan had ever started dating her having worked in the place as each other. He always had a crush on her, but he didn’t have the guts to ask her out. He was too worried that she didn’t like him more then a friend. And once Nathan met her, his chances blew out the window. They instantly clicked and started dating. A few years later they were married.
Peter never expected that she did actually love him, not his brother. That was until Nathan entered the Navy and sort of decreased his interactions with all of his family. He sent letters for Christmas, but nothing else. No phone calls or anything. Not even to Heidi - his fiancée. She was really sad about that, but Peter cheered her up by taking her to different carnivals, movies, and other places which they used to do long before Nathan had entered.
In one of those late nights out they had made a mistake and getting way too drunk. Peter remembered the exact day it happened - St. Patrick’s Day 1998. It was a classic perfect movie styled mistake, which they had laughed about later after it wasn’t awkward to be around each other. They had ended up sleeping together, which they could remember perfectly even though they had a lot of alcohol in their systems. He remembered after they slept together, when Heidi falling asleep. She had whispered a loving sigh of, “I love you Peter.” That had excited him more then anything she could either look like or could have done to him.
But she backed away after that; not being the kind of girl that would cheat or leave her fiancé. Peter was angry that she stayed with Nathan even after he came back. But he pretended to be happy for his brother and Heidi. He was the best man at their wedding. Biting his lips from shouting I do when the priest asked if there was anyone thought it wasn’t a good idea for the two to marry.
And now she was here, in his arms, howling in bliss as they made love. Her hair and body smelling like sweet apple blossoms which drove him crazy as he felt her against him.
God, how he loved her.
THE END.
