Netflix tells me the internet is slow today and there will likely be pauses. That's okay, I think. I'm having another of those no-energy phases, so I'll just doze between clips

Matt and his 'I could use my ability to work my way to the top of the police' - um, Matt, didn't you use your ability to become a detective last season?
I notice 'your mother was a sick, infantile woman' didn't trigger a lie. But then again, it was phrased as a question: 'do you want to know that your mother was a sick, infantile woman?' But his later statements aren't questions - about her wanting a baby and him wanting out. The guy did tell Sylar the truth.
Wait, why did Peter leave work without a word to Hesam? And oh, Angela lives near 87th and ... whatever. I missed it and don't feel inclined to rewind. We see proof that Claire has Peter's phone number and the implication that she has Matt's. But how Danko know that Mohinder would drive a random fare to that exact address? It boggles my mind, unless they had some kind of precognitive on their side. I suppose Mohinder's strength gives him good running ability? Not that what he's doing looks outside of human capability.
Peter made it home, though. I notice Peter stays a long-ass way away from Nathan. 'It's one thing to disown me, but-' Wait, Nathan disowned Peter? Is that just rhetorical? Nathan tries the 'I need your help' routine and Peter totally doesn't buy it

Hey, another comment about 'disowning you the way I did'. What does that mean, legally?
I found that weird too, I thought only a parent could disown their children from getting their money/compagny/house/etc, never heard that a brother could do the same. Mostly since Nathan is most likely giving whatever he has to his two boys when he'll die, Claire might get a little something too. lol
How were they tracking him?
No idea how they were tracking the specials, some of them must have been more easy to find, if they could just look at their home. But Sylar does not live anywhere, as far as we know... lol
I think I've said before, but that looks like a lethal kick to the back of the head on Claire's part.
I like the way they shot the episode. The film work is excellent. Very striking. Dialogue is okay. Acting is fine. There's just sections where the producers elect not to clarify what the hell is going on.
I think this is the first time we see Peter take someone else's ability (aside from launching himself into Nathan.
I read recently that it's no longer called the 'cockpit' and that it's now called the 'flight deck'. The implication was that 'cockpit' was deemed unnecessarily sexist.
That turbulence is great enough to continue sucking people out of strapped down seats is impossible/unrealistic. After the initial blast, pressure equalizes and all you deal with is the noise and turbulence - there is no suction. Although you *do* have to contend with decreased oxygen, lower pressure, and likely lower temperature. Still, you know, if you're going to write an airplane disaster, then you ought to do a half hour of internet research.

Yes it is. With his new ability, he now have to touch people to get them, which will cause some problems in the upcoming episodes... lol

Not a big fan of the scenes of Hiro and Ando. The ones of Daphnee and Matt are boring as well.
Poor Peter, sad because he cannot save everyone as a Medic. He would most likely have prefered to have the power to heal.
The adoptive father of Sylar is such a bastard. We learn that he got Sylar from his own brother, which makes him the uncle of Sylar, and he still does not give a crap about him. Poor Sylar. *hugs him*
Nathan, you f*cking bastard! You too Noah!
Honestly, I think that Claire going in the plane is the best thing she ever did. Everyone with special abilities would have been lost without her. However, I'm sure they would have found a way to escape the facility where they were supposed to go, eventually.
It was nice of Mo to grab Peter when he was about to be sucked out of the plane. I remember hating that ending the first time I watched, mostly scared for the fate of Peter.
