This is in my top 5 or top 10 Heroes episodes. I'm pretty sure this is the one - the one where Arthur gets shot. There are so many good plot lines coming together here. It's loaded with tension and I was just on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how it was all going to turn out ( ... )

Mohinder ... I'd thought it was Nathan who flew off through the skylight, but it was Mohinder. Huh.

I really wonder why the writers did that, since Mohinder is not supposed to fly, he's more like Spiderman and can climb walls. Big WTF moment...

I like what Sandra says to Claire here in the driveway - it's really supportive.

True, that was very nice :)

I love Arthur's, "Have you met their mother?" LOL!

Yeah that was hilarious! I forgot to mention that line in my comment.

I'm glad Maya is done with Mohinder.

And Maya is almost done with the show, and pretty much everyone were glad for that, including me. lol

this *is* the only time when Claire's plotline was cool.

Agreed.

This was also like the only episode where Maya seemed like a decent person. I need to look up the writer for this one, because they did a good job.

I don't buy Maury's death. But then again, I doubt Adam's as well. It's kind of like what Peter says in S4: "After all I've seen, anything is possible ( ... )

I love how Nathan smiles when Meredith tells him he still has a weakness for blondes.

I love it too, it always make me smile :)

I'm sure that Maury is dead, and I never thought he used his power to protect himself from Arthur. He never thought that Arthur would kill him, mostly because he could read his mind. It seems that Arthur decided to kill him at that very moment, he did not plan it at all since Maury did not hear the thought before it was obviously too late.

I think Sylar did not do anything to defend himself from Arthur because he's still in "curious mode" when it comes to the Petrellis. Also, he cannot die, unless Arthur would have cut his head off, and he knows he does not want to kill him so he was not scared, and did not feel the need to fight back in my opinion.

Peter ... and Sylar ... Sylar's so gullible, I think. It's interesting that he apologizes before the defenestration ( ... )

Is that Peter's apartment? If so, it's in good shape considering the jaunt to Ireland. Interesting that Nathan asks, "What's the name of the company?" Was that mentioned? That he was at a company? Maybe I missed it.

Yeah, it looks like Peter's apartment. When Claire called Nathan after Peter's fall, I think she might have mentioned that Peter was at a compagny when she gave a short explanation of what happened to him. We see the scene from Nathan's point of view without hearing what she says, right? I did not really pay attention during that scene because I got distracted by someone, and I did not feel the need to rewatch the minute I missed.

There are so many things about the dialogue this episode that I love! And the 'grounded' bit and Sylar's almost juvenile (okay, not 'almost') comments to his mother - he's really gone all little-boy about her.

When Arthur is offering his hand to Sylar when he's on the floor, the first time I time I watched I was so scared that Arthur would also steal Sylar's power!

That's what I was expecting, too! I was like, 'NOOO!! Don't touch him, Sylar!' In the next episode, I remember that Nathan is *very* careful about touching his dad, which is odd since Peter wasn't exactly explicit about how his dad stole his powers.

He probably did not want to take the chance to lose his ability.

Yeah, that synthetic ability he so despised. Funny how precious it becomes when he finds out it might be taken away.

Interesting. Daphne's voice over (for those of us catching up), "My boss can't have someone like that [a precog] out there." That's blatent for them ( ... )

I still find it massively creepy, dressing Maya up in a gown (Why?), strapping her down (again, with her ability - why?), then Arthur being pervy.

Ew. Yes. There's no explanation for why she was that way, unless they did a *very* thorough examination of her first. Which, well, if I were Mo (or someone who knew about Mo's power), and knew I had a power that included sexual pheromones and potentially egg-laying, nest-building urges, then I'd be checking her for pregnancy and/or parasites.

Arthur's power appears to be the ability to steal someone else's power. It's like Sylar's, but it doesn't involve killing. It's like Peter's, except it takes the ability permanently, whereas Peter only copied the power and didn't harm the original owner. So better than Sylar's, but not as good as Peter's original power.

And did I miss how Claire knows Noah is working with Sylar?

You skipped a few episodes? Sylar worked with Noah for two episodes, and he even saved Claire in episode "Angels and Monsters" when the man with the "tornado power" attacked, so that's why she knows.

You did not hear the conversation Arthur had with Mohinder? He explained that when he take the power of someone, he takes everything and does not leave anything left.
