I remember the first thing I thought about Kensei when he removed his mask was: Wow, he's hot. And white?! lol''
I always thought Adam was kind of a homage to Wolverine (Though Adam is much a different character ahaha) but just the idea, somehow. I heard that Claremont wanted him to not be such a berserker to the reading audience, so he gave him a bit of some depth with this arc.
Just a feeling.
(and yes at Noah, who can't be really normal either, despite his need for his daughter to be so)
And Claire's whole natural inclination to give to her ability (the burner), while trying to hide it.
I also loved Hiro's arc, here, he did work well off Adam and the idea, and it showed a bit of a god-complex emerging for him at the same time while he tries to be more than he is and create a hero instead of be one.
When I start, I'm going to be skipping the scenes with the twins. I really...I really have nothing productive to say there. Need to start laundry first...I'll be back and ready to go once I get that done
( ... )
Good thing to wonder. That has to be a minimum wage or slightly over minimum wage job...and they are living in California...which isn't exactly the cheapest state to live in. I bet he had money stored away from before the first season. Seems like something he would do.
That, or take up the whole P.I. agency idea that was mentioned later on.
I dislike West. I really am creeped out by this kid. I wish they wouldn't have gone the romance route with him and Claire. I'm trying to find a reason to like/tolerate him and I just can't. I used to go out (as "going out" as a long distance relationship allows) with a guy like West.
I always feel for Matt in this season. I quickly go to disliking him once season 3 starts but I really like early Matt. He tries really hard and I have to admire that. It seems like no one is really helping him out at all, especially when it comes to Molly. Just pointing out the flaws/what he's unable to take care of easily.
I feel for Nathan too. I can't even imagine. He's pretty much lost everything at this point. I think that's the flaw I like best on him...he dwells on things. (I do that. It's nice to see a character I can relate to in that way.)
Molly does have a point...using that ability is sort of cheating...though, if someone uses that logic...Matt's right too. It's not.

I never noticed that before, but I always felt bad for Matt as well.
Haha, considering that reading people's mind is part of who Matt is, and that he's using his ability to help people, I don't consider it cheating. Of course, he could use it to 'cheat' in his job to become so good, to get promotions, etc. But his ability got him more problems than promotions so far. I think it would be silly to not use his gift just because some people thinks it's cheating.
For all I know I'm completely wrong with that. But, that's just what it seems like to me and I feel awful when I see that.
To be honest, if I had it...I'd use it too. Why not? If it gets the cases and everything closed. It's helping people, if it keeps me having a job...sure, good thing. Might as well. He's never had help with anything in the past anyway. It's only fair.
I agree that Matt has a lot on his plate and he's entirely on his own. Given that he has telepathy, too, I can see the temptation to use it to keep his head above water.
And I liked Nathan grieving. It was nice to see an authentic emotion, a real downward spiral from the guy who had everything in S1 to someone who has a long way up to go in S2.
I got called away to other things...going to do my last post for the episode.
Does anyone else think that someone set up the situation with Peter being found in the shipping container so he would be found by the gang/mobsters? I was talking to someone about this a while ago and was wondering what everyone else thought?
I haven't watched Heroes in so long, that I don't remember who sent the gang to get Peter in the container. lol But whoever did it, they chose that gang to take care of him, they did not find him accidentally. So, yeah, I guess someone set this up.
He has put there by the Haitian, but I don't really think they ever said who planned that all out. Maybe Angela? Maybe someone else entirely? Who knows? I think there was a fanfiction where someone wrote that it was Claude (one theory/idea I do like).
For all we know, no one even did set that up. But, it seems to coincidental for my liking.
I haven't watched season 2 in forever, but for whatever reason, I have the most headcanon set up for this particular story line.
Yeah, I know that the Haitian erased his memory. I don't think Angela could have set this up, because she would know where he is, and she would stop crying and being so worried about him.
Maybe the info is included in the flashback episode when we see the Haitian erase his memory... I'll be sure to listen carefully for any hints about this during the rewatch of this season.

I'm starting a little early just so I don't forgot or post late.
I noticed on the DVD cover that Peter still has his hair, but I guess he starts out that way.
Enjoy! I might not be able to be here for the whole ride this week but I'll do my best.

Noah: "The kids don't look any different from the kids in texas. *Sexy girl passes besides him* Okay... maybe except for her." LOL
Aww, Molly miss Mohinder because he can cook. He's obvioulsy the 'Mommy' while Matt is the 'Daddy' that takes care of her. lol
I like Hiro's storyline this season. For once, he's more responsible instead of acting like a child.
Hiro's father: "In 24 hours... I'll be dead."
I always found weird to see him so calm while he said that.
I remember the first thing I thought about Kensei when he removed his mask was: Wow, he's hot. And white?! lol
I never get tired of seeing Noah "tacking care of his annoying new boss" at the paper store. *giggles* It's priceless :D
The ending is the best part for me. Peter, shirtless, with handcuffs. Yummy.
Not much to say for that episode, since Peter and Sylar are my favorites. I'm looking forward to the next ones :D

I love Wolverine, so it might be the readon why I instantly liked Adam.
Yeah, it seems that Claire cannot stop hurting herself, even when people are around. Silly girl.
I'm glad someone else likes Hero's arc in this season :D

This really made Hiro as a character for me while I had loved him before too.
(and yes, Adam=likeability overload XD)

LOL Yeah, and I wonder how he can afford that car since Noah now have a crappy job that must not have a good pay.
I agree, they sould have make Matt do more detective related scenes.
