Matt, you're a police officer, you should know better how the system works.

I LOVE Claire's scene with Bennet at Primatech. Hilarious. "They don't have paper that big; they don't make paper that big." I love the connection between father/daughter whining, gossping, advising about a rock in their collective shoe - Jackie. Being a hero with paper products is freaking adorable.

I've always loved Bennet's story of how they found/got Claire. He's really attached and he can't/won't bother to BS himself or anyone that he cares and that Claire isn't just a babysitting job like he thought it was at first. A little weird he's more attached/loyal/honest to her than his own wife who's also a cover but...

Then...ooh, close call. Invasion of evil into the Bennet dynamic. Crap, Bennet...switches between things so easily, it's pure fright.

Also, this is ZQ's first ep as Sylar.

I...feel for Matt. He never ASKS Janice about it. He waits for her to tell him and that's such a good character move - guy with telapthy who wants the honest, non-manipulated truth as best he can arrange it. He wants a confession, explanation, apology but he doesn't use his powers for it. That takes so much nerve and control when he's not in control of his powers (okay, yeah, he can't push thoughts yet). I just really like this moment for that reason.

I love Janice's performance, reacting to the phone call, body language, whispering.

Okay, now we're hitting the daddy's girl/cheerleader/cute blonde cliche REALLY hard on the head. It's a little pedo even from where I'm sitting.

Hiro looks so pained.

I loved the paper scene, too! It was so normal!

It's easier to get attached to a baby than to a grown person. Just is. Kind of like how people often care more about their pets than the humans in their lives. The pets are perpetually infantilized.

I agree about Janice really selling that scene well!
