Rewatch Reminder!
There is a Heroes Rewatch party starting this Sunday (Jan. 20) at 4 pm Pacific Time (so 6 pm for someone like me in Central). The rewatch starts with episode 1 "Genesis", season 1, hosted right here at heroes_fic! All are welcome!
If you're unfamiliar with rewatches, what you do is find the show somewhere online, on Netflix, or in your personal DVD collection and watch episode 1 either before the rewatch time or when the rewatch time starts. Then when the comment thread is posted on heroes_fic at 4 pm Pacific Time, you post your thoughts to it - observations on the show, expectations for that episode, little bits of trivia you noticed, your squees and squicks, the things they could have done better, favorite lines, etc. Click the 'Track This' link under the thread to get notifications of other people posting their thoughts and then reply to the ones you want to say something to. The replying back and forth might go on for a few hours or a few days as people have time to comment. So many different eyes see so many different things in the show that it's really a lot of fun to see what others have to say.
If you don't have the show available to you, or time to watch it, you might still want to drop by and leave your thoughts about what you remember of the episode. A quick read of it over on Heroes wiki can do wonders to refresh the memory.
We'll be rewatching one episode a week, in sequential order through season 1. Unless otherwise noted, rewatches will be on Sundays, at 4 pm Pacific Time.
