Summary: Arthur Petrelli saved Elle so he could study the effect on the formula on those who already have abilities. But with the his death and the fall of Pinehearst, where does that leave her? Apparently on a freeway, thinking she's walking by herself. Claude finds her, and they head off to find the so-called heroes.
Now she must band together with men she's not sure she can trust, including the one that murdered her, in hopes to save others like them from fates worse than death.
Author's Note: AU Eventually, because Elle is alive. I couldn't get any inspiration for the series I've been writing, so this is a separate story from that.
There's a place that ends here, I know, when they close the gates I'll cry. I'm so tired of never sleeping, the whole world wants what we aren't.
