Nathan reached in to gently brush the hair out of Peter’s face, and felt his stomach clench up in all the wrong places. He lingered for a moment, listening to Peter rambling on about something. It took him by surprise for a moment, that they were this close. He could stand just like this, one hand resting on the side of his face, and Peter didn’t even realize it. He started to rub circles on the side of his face, and Peter reached up, grabbing his hand. Closing his eyes for a moment, he leaned forward and kissed him gently.
