Well.... the Consumer Protection Act is not meant to pile more debt onto already existing debtors. But those who must borrow must pay it back with interest, and people who borrow take that risk. So who is getting screwed over: the loaner or the debtor? Is it not equally fair that when a man borrows he should have the full intention of paying it back? And yes it is true that some people just "accidentally" let it get out of hand. The point of declaring bankruptcy is allowing someone to easily pay off the debts. In some cases, the interest is excluded. Now I am in no position, seeing as I have almost no debt, to declare that most people who declare bankruptcy are digging the easy way out of the hole. "If a man cannot earn what he needs, then he must borrow." Kinda like the United States Government. Right now they have a debt of 7.7 trillion dollars. However, the government's assets (Gross Domestic Product) are worth 11.5 trillion dollars and grow faster than the debt itself. They stack up debt in the form of bonds. So as long as the ( ... )

haha yes i see what you are saying .... i mean i agree that people who have debt should pay it off for sure.... but sometimes there is no other option.......but i don't really mind all of that, it's just the fact that they call it the Consumer Protection Act...... as opposed to calling it the idunno uhhhh Lender Protection Act.... or perhaps the Consumer Unprotection Act (lol) or something..... i truly don't think that i have any authority to say that the Consumer Protection Act is wrong...... its just they send out the wrong message by calling it that...... it sounds like it would be very beneficial to anyone even someone in debt when in fact it is not
anyways I WILL GIVE YOU THOSE COOKIES WHETHER YOU WANT THEM OR NOT <3
