Harry Potter Help please....

Mar 17, 2006 18:35

I am hoping that all of my dear dear Harry Potter fanatics will take the time to share some of their thoughts and perspectives on some things for me as I have reached a stalemate in my fanfic and am wanting to hear some different perspectives on afew things...

like Snape for example )

1. Meh I have a bad memory for details. Sorry :P

2. Am not creative, so I can't come up with anything, but even Hogwarts has hidden staircases that are shortcuts. Escape route, possibly?

3. Nice theory.

4. Trust. It may be just me, but people always point to past love affairs when they're trying to figure out connections and relationships. Like Lupin/Lily and Snape/Lily? Do you know what I'm talking about? I think that the Death Eaters that have figured out whom one another are have a deep trust within their ranks because they're a vast minority, and they've got to depend on and work with one another.

5. Pilgramage. I'd want to go back to see where the Potters lived. Doubt he'll find a clue, but maybe something will happen. Attack, aquaintance, whatever.

6. Nah.

1. Well, he did save Harry in SS. I don't think JK intended him to be evil when she wrote the first book or two, then she decided to make that crucial plot twist
2. Hmmm...i din't pay much attention to that...I'll have to reread...
3. Good point. Why don't the students realize that?
4. Probably in the past...but they deatheaters do have to have that trust in each other
5. It's gonna be really painful for him, because he might see his old house where his parents died
6. Sirius probably was, but I think it mentioned soemthing about that in the book, but I gotta reread them
PS: This is Merry in my graphix account cuz I'm too lazy to sign out

1. It's been a while since I've read HBP so I don't remember the details, although the discussions Snape had with Draco convinced me that he was on Dumbledore's side and was simply trying to find out more information about what was planned by Voldemort to report to Dumbledore. I also think at the end Dumbledore asks Snape to kill him, and Snape just follows the orders 'cause he knows it's for the best. Did that make any sense? lol ( ... )
