What a weekend....
Ok. So I was supposed to be in the San Francisco Bay Area for training for my new job. However, my mom started having really bad chest pains and she turned white and had dark circles under her eyes on Saturday mid-day. So we rushed her to the ER. Her blood pressure was 192/92 when we got her there and her chest pain was bad. They rushed her in...did an EKG and put her on oxygen, gave her nitroglycerin then admitted her into the hospital for further testing and to find out what happened. She just got released today about an hour ago. She has to follow up with her own doctor and go for another stress test. She has to have more bloodwork done.They did rule out a heart attack but we still really don't know what happend. But it is good to have her home.
My new boss was very understanding of the situation and has agreed to postpone my business trip until next week. I'll fly out on Monday and do all my training the following next week instead of this week!.. thank goodness everything worked out!
So if you are one of my co-mods thanks for picking up the slack this week..it looks like when I get there next week I should have internet access at my hotel..thanks for doing the challenges this week though with taking my mom to all these follow up visits it will prove most helpful...you guys all ROCK!
