My first fst. Completely done to the tune of Katara & Zuko from Avatar. I'm a dork. XD

I apologize for the apparent emo-ness of the cover, and the rather pathetic sketchy look I attempted.
01. Flow [Sade]
The beginning of Katara/Zuko. Or, they realize that they have chemistry. Sade (the band) has this amazing way of getting under your skin with their music. Sade Adu's melodious voice feels like a flame burning in the darkness. It's strange, being on fire and on ice at the same time.
Is it possible I could feel this cool
I could really love you the way I do
Is it possible I could feel this good
I could really love you the way I do
02. To Be With You [Mr. Big]
Zuko's song for Katara. After all, there were a lot of guys that came before he did. Aang, Haru, Jet. Zuko's biding his time, and he'll wait for the day when she'll look at him with different eyes. For the moment, he'll be the shoulder to cry on.
Hold on little girl
Show me what he's done to you
Stand up little girl
A broken heart can't be that bad
03. Don't Stop Believin' [Journey]
She's from the water tribes. He's from the fire nation. This song is dedicated to the differences between the two nations, two different worlds, but they also have something in common. A spark of adventure. A night of passion. Something she's knows she won't forget.
Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
04. April Come She Will [Simon & Garfunkel]
A love that started and ended all too quickly. Spring has never been sweeter for them. But as the seasons change, so does she. All too soon, Zuko's arms are empty and Katara disappears with the wind.
April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
May, she will stay,
Resting in my arms again.
05. Insensitive [Jann Arden]
"Was it a mistake to fall in love? I don't know. It feels like a mistake."
Katara is confused with her feelings and thinks that the fling with Zuko is just that. A fling. It's not possible to fall in love this quickly, this rapidly, to drown in it. She has to get away, to avoid being suffocated. She needs time to think things over. She leaves Zuko without a reason.
Oh, you probably won’t remember me
It’s probably ancient history
I’m one of the chosen few
Who went ahead and fell for you
06. Horn [Nick Drake]
"Uncle, no!"
"Nephew, but a troubled heart is soothed with mus-"
"No! I will not play the Sungi horn!"
[Instrumental]
07. Cocoon [Jack Johnson]
She fights. He argues. They can't seem to get along all the time. But despite their differences, they realize that they're much more alike this way. After all, no relationship is perfect. They know that through experience. But as they step closer to each other, their hands hesitant at their sides, they know that this time it will be different. They'll make it different.
I know it's not your style
I can tell by the way that you move
It's real, real soon
But I'm on your side
And I don't want to be your regret
I'd rather be your cocoon
08. Out of the Blue [The Philosopher Kings]
Katara and Zuko. They raise their hands towards each other and their palms touch. Their guarded faces turn to each other and Katara smiles. Zuko blinks and can't believe what he's seeing. She's smiling at him.
"I know you're the one," she says.
"How do you know."
"I just do."
Everyone's so scared of falling
I know why
Never thought that you'd be calling out to me
All this time
09. Play Me [Neil Diamond]
A lovely, sentimental song about mistakes, love, and redemption. Mostly from Zuko's perspective, for all the things that he's done during S1 and S2. But more than that, it's a song of apology for them. They fall asleep in each other's arms.
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
10. Rain [Madonna]
Late 80s/early 90s Madonna was so awesome. It's Katara's song. She stands outside on the balcony, spreads her arms out and turns her head towards the sky, a smile on her lips. She swirls, swirls, swirls, like a newborn breeze. She knows she's flying.
"I love the rain, it makes everything go away."
Rain, feel it on my finger tips
Hear it on my window pane
Your love's coming down like
Rain, wash away my sorrow
Take away my pain
Your love's coming down like rain
11. No Ordinary Love [Sade]
It started with Sade, it's going to end with Sade. Katara wraps Zuko's arms around her as she leans against his chest. He rests his chin on the top of her head and sighs contentedly.
"We beat the odds, babe."
Didn't I tell you
What I believe
Did somebody say that
A love like that won't last
Didn't I give you
All that I've got to give
