Of the Many Things
Afternoon all.
So I took the weekend off. I feel very refreshed :) I've been off left right and centre with mum and dad or so it seems, which has been good fun. It's a gloriously warm day today and I can only hope that this weather continues for jakuako's arrival and the Deathly Hallows 24hr Read Aloud project in June. The only problem is it's making me want to fall asleep!
A few things to share.
1. Supernatural
Don't worry, I'm not abandoning it. I just feel like I need to take a little time. Running through episodes every day is fun, but at the end of a season (particularly with a cliffhanger like that!) taking a breather is good. I've really enjoyed all five seasons that I've seen, and I look forward to carrying on! Keep an eye on either my journal or the SPN comm; when I'm about to start season six I will post the summary of season five reviews on there. In the mean time there may be fic or thinky posts, but I'm not commiting to anything. Thanks to everyone for taking the journey so far with me XD
2. Fanfiction
I have half-a-dozen projects on, and there are two ways in which you lovelies can help me out. Firstly, you can head to this post and leave a prompt as a comment. I need twenty-one of them! I'd really appreciate your help on this :) Secondly, I am still (as always) looking for a beta for my big-long-HP fic. I'll be reposting a request on both hp_betas_wanted and hp_betas soon, but if any of you are interested do let me know. It's about 110k in total; I'm not looking for SPaG or anything, just someone to read through my incredibly AU fic and give me general crit on the plot and the characters.
3. Real Life
My BA degree in English Literature will be completed on Friday! I have one last essay to write, and it's not too tough. There will be a victory post :D Hehehehe. I'm also working on a couple of cloaks; there will be potion-brewing on Pottermore and some work on my original fic. And of course, preparing for a visitor from the US who is arriving in two weeks today! jakuako, can't wait to see youuuu!
