Eee, checked out new apartment, liked it, have to do all the formal app stuff--but OMG so cheap! I guess anything is cheap compared with my 2bd/$1900 Deal of Evil right now. (d00d, seriously uncool.) And it's going to be partially furnished--the virtues of "replacing" people are many, although the lack of New Totally Clean place is kind of a downer ( Read more... )

$1900? 0____________________-0 ouch.

My budget for a 2bdrm is like. . . $800. Because I rally won't be able to afford paying more than $500 total myself each month. wow. 0___0

Dude, Z, it's basically on Balboa and Genesee in Clairemont, my own room for $435 in a massively gated community. FTW. I think this is what happens when you let someone else find the good deal, and then reap the benefits when they move. :> :>

...I do have a large male roommate of undetermined sexuality to share with (as well as cindelius), but w/e. (*dies* What's especially amusing to me is that I mentioned it to mom, and she said absolutely nothing, like living with a random dude was totally normal behavior. Which I guess it is. ...)

Remind me never to move out there. :-P I have two friends who just moved out there- one for grad school at UCLA for Poli Sci (or was it philosophy?) and one for film school. I give the Grad student a better chance at success.

It's in a fancy pants part of San Diego...which I am leaving (well, not so very far). But yeah, the new place is a three bedroom for $1360, which by everyone's standards here is *insanely* cheap. It's also in an extremely gated community, in a safe area.

I think if I found an $800/2bdrm deal, my car would get jacked in a week, and I would witness a stabbing within the month. :P Sacrifices!

Well, I was looking in east side of Pittsburgh pa, so-! XD Somehow I don't think I'll move out to California unless I strike it rich. Even then. Unless I get my PhD and someone out there offers me Tenure. So expensive!!!

BTW- AS/S is awesome. :-D
