Great story, loved the slow progression to friendship between Hermione, Theo and Draco. They are good together, they had so much more in common than Hermione and Ron. (Of course I have never though the HG/RW pairing worked but that is just my preference).
Hence, I was a bit saddened by the ending as I would have rather had her stay with TN and DM. Then I began to wonder if perhaps she is now thinking like a Slytherin by trying to have it all; what everyone expects of her by staying with Ron and not disrupting their friendship (and she really does care for him), and still having Draco and Theo when she wants them as well? I'm not sure though because I think Hermione would not be able to handle the guilt involved in that situation. At any rate I greatly enjoyed reading the story.

Edited because I forgot to comment on the art, loved the one with Hermione and Theo, the bright colors really caught my eye, and the one with the girls, I can just see Hermione's annoyance with the other two, it's written on her face.

Thank you so much! I happen to not be a big R/Hr person either, but I felt that it would be out of character for Hermione to up and leave, at least then. Later, well, who knows?

Oh... really interesting story. I liked how the end played out and how there is an opening left for second term to maybe become something more. I liked how natural it seemed between draco/theo/hermione and of course harry would stick up for ron... really nice job!

Great art too... really loved the picture of hermione and theo on the bench...

Wow. The tone of the story really drew me in. I liked the way Hermione tried to use Harry for a sounding board but he stuck up for Ron despite it being hard to see points of connection. Your Luna was lovely as well. Even with the ending not being what I'd have chosen, this was very compelling and a wonderful read. Nicely done.

The artwork is simply lovely as well.

Thank you very much! The Harry scene was tricky to write, so I'm very glad to hear you liked it.

one word: gutted.

besides my sadness about hermione's final decision, loved your story. i really enjoy just draco and theo by themselves, too. your character portrayal was spot on, and i liked how the relationship between hermione and theo&draco progressed so naturally. i've always thought she needed a slytherin, hehe, and you gave her two of my favorites so what's not to like?

not sure if you're planning on leaving this as a one shot, but i see lots of potential for draco/theo back story or as previously mentioned maybe hermione has a change of heart second term? ;)

overall, lovely, and i'm very happy to have read it.

Thank you so much!

I'm probably planning on leaving it as a one-shot, simply because I don't think I have the energy to write another novella right now! That said, however, I have an already-existing multichap called Going Nowhere Fast that could probably be read as a Theo/Draco prequel- though I didn't explicitly write Devotion as a sequel, I had a lot of that in mind as background when I wrote (save perhaps for the last couple chapters).

The finished sequel is here, if you're still interested!

Nicely done. Very believable characterization, and such logical motivation, I kept nodding away. Thanks!

Thank you! I don't write Hermione or Draco very much, so the characterization was hard work for me; I'm glad you think it worked. :)
