Modly reminders!
Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, July 3, is the deadline for rough drafts to be submitted for authors and for phase one art to be submitted for artists. We will accept submissions through all time zones of July 3, so if it gets to us early Saturday morning, we won't be refusing it.
EXTENSIONS: We're receiving requests for extensions, so we thought we'd say it here. The absolute latest date that we will accept rough drafts is July 5. This is for anyone who is really close and can get the 20K with beginning/middle/end finished. This weekend we have to go through the submissions and assign artists, and we want to give artists the maximum amount of time to work on their pieces. So again - ideally, we'd like everyone to submit by the 3rd, but if absolutely necessary, we will grant an extension until Sunday, July 5.
Artists, you will be receiving your assignments around July 10. Authors and artists, all finished fic and art will be due to us on September 6. We will post the final draft header information in a few weeks, as we'll need to know more information for archiving purposes than the basic header usually has.
In the next couple of weeks, we will be posting information for anyone who wants to write fic for the phase one art. Our goal is to get at least one fic of 1k or more for each piece of beautiful artwork that's been submitted. Those fics will be posted in the Big Bang archive along with the artwork. If you wanted to participate in the fest but couldn't write 20k, this is a great way to participate! The artists have worked hard on their art, so we're looking forward to having volunteers write fic for it. There'll be more details on that process coming soon.
Authors: If you need a beta, email us at hermione.mods@gmail.com with 'Beta Needed' in the subject line. We will begin matching up volunteer betas to authors as we receive requests. Beta volunteers, be aware that you'll start receiving author assignments in upcoming days, if you haven't already been contacted.
Below the cut is a list of all the artists who have signed up to do artwork (traditonal/graphic/soundtrack). If you are an artist who signed up but can no longer participate, let us know ASAP. We will be working on matching fics in the next week, and we don't want anyone to not get art because of someone dropping without letting us know.
