That day where we glorify men beating the crap out of each other.

So I guess I have an annual Super Bowl post going on.  Huh.  I'm not even really a football fan.

GO GREEN BAY!  I rooted for them because Ben Roethlisberger assaults young women.  That's not the way to win me over, Ben.  Also, the Packers are just kind of cool (after all, they're a successful example of socialism).

The quarterbacks weren't sexy this year.  Nor were they woobie-ish.  Alas...  I guess there's always next year.

Commercials:  SUPER LAME, overall.  The only ones I liked were the Ickle!Darth Vader, sitcom mashup, and cars-telling-a-story ads.  Oh, alright, the Bud Light product placement ads was amusing, too.  But the rest were just excessively and unnecessarily violent.

Movie Trailers:  AWESOME!  Thor and Captain America were my favorites, but I enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, too.  I think I'm going to have to look up Thor's and Cap's trailers again.  And again.  Note to self: Go to Barnes & Noble and read every single Captain America and/or The Might Thor comic they have.

Anyway, my family went to my aunt's house, and her friend brought these gorgeous specialty cupcakes.  I could only eat the icing because wheat hates me, but they were beautiful to look at.  My mom and I made guacamole, which was popular, and my dad made this amazing jambalaya, and it was all super-delicious.  And then I discussed When Harry Met Sally with one of my uncles.  The party was just generally really fun.

God, my life is boring.
