I think fandom hates me.

So I still can't stop thinking about Sherlock, and I know that The A-Team will never get a sequel, but now the fandom stars have officially against me:

Christopher Nolan claims that he's not using the Riddler in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

Did you hear that sound?  That's the sound of my inner child dying.

I'm praying that he's lying so that he can surprise everybody.  I mean, come on, Chris!  The Riddler deserves a proper adaptation and performance just as much as the Joker.  The only version that I felt has done him justice is the animated version, voiced by John Glover.  Otherwise it's just a lot of screaming and flailing.

So you know what this means?

GIF PARTY!!!

What could happen with a crappy, obscure villain:

About half the internet's reaction:

Random gifs (because more Batman gifs don't exist?):

The man who has been my Riddler for at least a year and a half:

People who are not amused:

No, I don't really mean that, but it was amusingly convenient.

Castiel tells it like it is:

Sherlock has no clue what's going on, and even he's pissed.
