Birthday tomorrow! Mom may take me out for a drink, but she can't actually have one, since she's having hip replacement surgery on Thursday. Figures.
Am currently reading Herman Melville's Redburn (one of his sea novels that isn't Moby Dick), and now know way too much about merchant ships.
On Monday night, I went to the university's trivia night and WON A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER through a round of "Dead or Alive" (with "Dr. Laura Schlessinger"---I guessed "Alive"). And my table beat the professor's table through a tie-breaker round of "Dead or Alive." Before that, we won five extra points with "What's in Your Wallet?" (someone at the table has to have the item asked for), and we beat the professors in that when one of our guys pulled out a condom.
Also, I'm currently filling an A-Team/Glee crossover prompt for a_team_kink where each character has a separate adventure in the halls of William McKinley High School, and I'm totally daunted by the prospect of writing Murdock. And Brittany. I'm not sure I can do either of them justice.
