Heroes/Supernatural Crossover Idea
Okay, I've been sitting on this idea recently and now I'm putting it out there.
I'm a big fan of both NBC's Heroes and the CW's Supernatural. My favorite Heroes character is Claude Rains, the cynical invisible man with major trust issues; my favorite Supernatural character is Dean Winchester, the bad-boy demon hunter with all kinds of issues. Anyway, I want to write a slash crossover fic focusing on these two characters, but I'm not sure how to go about it. At first, I tried combining an expose' (how the heck does one go about using accents?) of Dean's thought in third person with a scene where he came out to Sam (by the way, I decided Dean would be bisexual in this fic---it doesn't refute canon and allows the slash to be a little more plausible). That didn't work, so I tried it from Claude's point of view (but still in third person). Then I struck that and tried to write only the "coming out" scene, but I felt that it wasn't character-based enough for me. Now I think I might try just doing a short piece on only either Claude's or Dean's thoughts and feelings about the relationship, but I still feel stuck.
