I'm having mixed feelings about this vacation...
On one hand: Lake of the Ozarks, good. Fun little cousins, good. Relatives from Minnesota, good.
On the other hand: Laura the Queen of Bitchery, bad. Neurotic control-freak Aunt Brigid, bad. My 8-year-old cousin Jack (Brigid's oldest child), bad.
I will try to enjoy myself. I will. But if Laura makes fun of me for any reason and/or Jack starts abusing his 3-year-old brother, Andrew, I'm tossing them overboard. Otherwise, I think I'll make it. I'll grab Andrew and teach him to color Mandalas.
