Meme snagged from
fourleftxaviers:
Name five series that should have had a musical episode (and how it could have been explained).
1. Supernatural: I think they'd have to make up a creature that causes spontaneous singing for the boys to hunt. And Castiel must have a song and/or a dance number. I have a feeling that all of the songs would have to have a 1980s hard-rock feel in order to work.
2. Torchwood: If this show can have an alien that thrives off of male orgasmic energy, then they can have an alien that thrives off of musical numbers. Captain John Hart would have to show up for the sheer crackiness of it all, and he and Captain Jack can have an angsty, lust-filled duet.
3. Heroes: Some random new character has the power to make people randomly put on musical numbers, and then Sylar kills the person at the end of the show, but he doesn't take the power. The twist would be that everyone could only sing preexisting showtunes, Moulin Rouge-style: Peter and Nathan can fly around the Statue of Liberty singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked; Sylar can sing "Alive" from Jekyll and Hyde; and Claude can make a grand return and sing "Gotta Pick a Pocket or Two" from Oliver!.
4. Firefly: I agree with
fourleftxaviers---Jayne gets drugged up after an accident and the meds cause him to hallucinate musical numbers, like in the Scrubs musical episode. River gets a wacky dance sequence filled with strobe lights and floating objects.
5. Dollhouse: All of the Actives have to participate in a musical as a cover for something else, and then one of the Dolls gets hurt and Topher has to take his place.
