Wow, y'know, I think Claude's just about met his match, in terms of being able to pry someone open and prod at exactly what character flaws bother them the most. Not so fun on the receiving end, huh? Very interesting interaction!

Oh, I think the Joker's just a bit better. Neither of them live by the normal rules of society---they exist outside it, so they can see all of that about people. But the Joker is also hell-bent on bringing it down, so he's got a bit more focus than Claude. Thank you! :D

Maybe maybe not... it's just as annoying when someone analyzing you is dead wrong.

Actually, the Joker was poking at Claude's insecurities, just as Claude did with Peter. As for the Joker's slashy connotations, that's supposed to be ambiguous, like an Alan Moore comic.

I don't read Alan Moore but I have had folks be dead wrong about me and I wanted to beat them for insisting that they were right.

And I though you said this was IMPLIED slash...as in implied by a crazy person? And it's really not all that ambiguous.

Honestly, if anyone needs to be taken down it's the Joker. You hit him, he laughs. You threaten him, he laughs. I wanna see the Joker afraid for once. It's no wonder a good many of the actors playing the Joker have had trouble sleeping afterward including the late Heath Ledger.
