Internet, you confuzzle me.

So I really love this fandomsecret, but it has gotten one of the most negative collective responses I've ever seen a secret get.  I left a very positive comment about it, and I swear I look like a troll or something in the midst of all the hate.  Jesus, Internet, it's a Good Omens dreamcasting.  If you like it, say so.  If you hate it, say you disagree, but don't go on and on about how it's the worst thing ever or how unlikely it is, because the unlikeliness is what makes it fun.  Our imaginations can run wild.  I guess I just don't get why people are taking it so seriously.

Weirdest condemnation: "They're too young (-looking)."  Er, what?  I know we all have different images in our heads, but I imagined Aziraphale and Crowley to appear as men somewhere between the ages of 30 and 50.  Early middle age, I guess.  But if someone suggests someone older (like Eric Idle for Aziraphale, a suggestion I liked), cool.  Whatever happens happens.  If you don't like someone's suggestion, you don't need to gang up on them, even if they're anonymous (maybe that's why they're anonymous).

My thoughts on the actual fan-made poster:  I can see Tom as Crowley more easily than I can see Benedict as Aziraphale, but I think they'd be hilarious together.

And if I'm doing it wrong, tough.  At least I'm enjoying doing it wrong.

tom hiddleston, i care too much, um...what?, movies, fandom, books, good omens, wtf?!
