I can't believe I let this become a thing. I mean, I don't even like football. Anyway, observation time:
- Good Lord, my relatives are loud. I wish I could have heard Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton sing "America the Beautiful." But no.
- Dad's jambalaya is awesome, as always.
- Eli Manning > Tom Brady. Then again, no one in STL has ever forgiven the Patriots for cheating when they went up against the Rams in 2002.
- AVENGERS TRAILER!!! It looked absolutely fantastic, of course. If only I could here what they were saying... And no one has uploaded the whole thing to YouTube yet! Darn it!
- We left the party at my aunt's house so we could come home and watch Downton Abbey. I haven't blogged about it, but I seriously love it. And my mother has turned into a total Downton Abbey fangirl. Seriously. She drove home, and she started gunning the accelerator just a bit when we were a little more than a mile from home. And then, when we were less than a mile away, she tailgated the car in front of us, which was only going 30 MPH. I've never seen her do that before, and it was both awesome and terrifying.
- The Giants have a player named Manningham. WHUT.
- Oh, Downton Abbey! Ding dong, Vera's dead! Aw, poor Daisy. And poor Ethel. And I keep going back and forth on whether or not I should ship Sybil/Branson. And I felt a bit sorry for Patrick or Two-Face, as my sister called him.
- The Giants won the Super Bowl! YAY!!! Stick it to those cheaters, Eli!
