Sylar and Claude shall duke it out for Angel-like status.

The TVSquad (whose blogs I read sometimes when I'm bored) have made their predictions for TV in 2009 and one of them is that Zachary Quinto will get his own TV show (possibly a Heroes spin-off).  That probably won't come to fruition, but speculation is fun.  Maybe they can transform Sylar into a Dexter/Angel-type of anti-hero protagonist or maybe ( Read more... )

Lorne: Matt

Bwah. Now you've got me picturing Matt all dressed up in Lorne's old outfits and painted green. It's...an interesting mental image, there. Add the karaoke singing to that and my brain may just explode.

Yeah, I know, it's creepy. Wacky suits and green skin aside, I equated Matt with Lorne because they're both really good-natured guys who happen to be psychic/telepathic. Also, they both start out rather naive, but get increasingly battered as their respective series go on.

Oh, and the karaoke? That's where they differ. You could not pay Matt enough money to sing karaoke. I don't think he'd do it even if his life depended on it.

Both also end up killing people who they were in a kinda-sorta alliance with. But Lorne was a bit more justified in it.

He'd just create an illusion to make it look like he was singing karaoke.

Who did Matt kill? I honestly can't remember.

That sounds more like Candice's power. Her illusions can disrupt the environment around her and are visible to anyone, while Maury's illusion seemed to invade a specific person's mind so that only that person can see them. I think.

Bennet ;) Evil!5YG!Matt did it.

I think Matt's a bit more powerful in that he can do both; he created that illusion for, who was it, Knox? When Daphne double-crossed him. Which I suppose is just an extension of what you say, and who knows if he could sustain it otherwise.
