Martha my Dear
A man came and he took her away from Mother, sisters, and brothers. He was nice though. He called her Martha. She liked to think of him as Master.
Master played with Martha. He fed her. He brushed her. He loved her, which was all Marthat wanted. She loved Master to. Unconditionaly. They were happy.
Master liked to howl. It was a pritty sound and Martha would join him sometimes, and Master would laugh and laugh! Oh how she loved Masters laugh. She didn't always understand him though. Master would go into a room without Martha sometimes and she could here plunky or sometimes strumy sounds to go along with his howling. it was the same sort of sound she would here from the old box in masters room.
Sometimes a red haired girl would come to there big house with the roses in the back yard and she wasn't allways nice... she would yell if Martha did a bad thing like say, piddle on the carpet or behind her couch. Master would never yell. He would let her know she did bad, but yelling scared Martha and Master new that. Red haired girl would not let Martha jump or lick her eather...
She did seem to make master happy, and Martha did love Master, so, Red Haired Girl was allright.
Glasses man and the little boy who came with him to the big house with the roses in the backyard make Master happy as well. Martha loved them. Espetialy the little boy. He was fun to play with and lick.
Master would take her to the house of the little boy and Glasses Man sometimes. There was always a certon sdness to that place. The Sad Woman and Glasses Man never seemed happy to be together. And the little boy would go off by himself or stick verry closely to Maste and Martha.
Time for Martha passed quickly. The Red haired girl was not in her world quite as much and Master brought other girls in to there home, and she had to sleep in the backyard, Away from Masters side. Martha did not like this. It made her sad.
Once, when Martha was in the backyard trying to sleep without master, the red haired girl came to there home. She screamed and screamed and Martha, in a panic to get to Master, clawed the door and windows. She jumped and jumped and mericulously the door swung open like magic! She was in! and she was going to save Master!
Martha didn't get very far. The Red Haired Girl was screaming so loud it hurt Marthas ears. She ran behind her couch. Master was yelling back, not as loud as the Red Haired Girl nothing was as loud as that demon screaming, but they weren't angry, not really. This is what Martha got out of it:
" Human words, human words no girl liston! Please! Human words come sit human words! Please I love you! "
It only made things worse. And poor Master was distrought at this point. Martha peaked around the couch. Tears were running down his face, and the Red Haired Girl's face matched her hair. she picked up Masters favorite toy, the one with the strings and the little hole in the middle, and threw at Mastes head! He ducked and it smashed into the wall, Martha lost her nerve and slank behind her couch again.
Finaly, after to much yelling, Red Haired Girl left slamming the door behind her. Martha ran to Master who had sunk onto the floor. He pulled her close and cried into her fur. Reminding her of the little boy who would cry with her all those times the Sad Woman and Glasses Man fought.
He was a reck. Martha tried to drag him to the kitchen so he could eat every once and a while, but her sweet Master would curse himslef, convinced that he was starving her! Poor Master.
Glasses man came to the big house with the roses in the backyard alone and stayed for some time. Master was tired most of it. Martha worried over both men, they were being so silly!
Eventualy Master seemed to be able to function on his own. He would go out. He would bring girls to the house. Then he would leave again. No time for Martha it seemed.
Times changed. Master smiled that real smile again. And Martha got walks and toys and hugs again! Master brought some one to there Big house with the roses in the back yard. A pritty Blond Woman. Martha was aloud to meet this one. She smiled and was worm. Martha was even aloud to jump on her and lick her face! Well how different she was from the other one!
There was a little girl with her. She was shy and hid behind the Blond Woman and Master had to pull her out and set her on his lap.
"Gentle Martha, gentle good ole girl you are, yes good girl."
The little girl patted her nose and Martha licked her hand, she laughed and Master did too. Soon Martha was calling Blond Woman Mistress instead. She liked it better.
Trouble in paradise. Glasses Man was different. He smelled different and instead of bringing a little boy, He brought what Martha thought was a cat! A big one. Well she hissed like a cat anyway.
One night Glasses Man came. He and Master growled at each other! Nothing like the screaming of the Red Haired Girl, this was mad growling, two males fighting for dominence.
Glasses man left. Master was not happy and Mistress stuck them all in a car going who knows where. They reached there destination, a place much different then the big house with the rosses in the back yard. Better. The backyard was never ending! Martha went were ever she pleased but master he stayed inside the little shack little shack and did what Mistress said was pouting. She finaly got him out of it and they gathered together and howled into the eavenings.
A new little girl was brought out and she was lovely just like Mistress. Martha loved her life here at the farm with the little shack. Master bought her sheep to play with and for the rest of her days she was happy.
....so that was that. Martha girly I hope you enjoyed it! I'm tiered.
